Travel to the Origin

This origin trip is centered around experiencing first hand the culture that surrounds coffee at the origin! Accommodations will be comfortable. We will stay in among the best hotels that each destination has to offer. Keep in mind that some of these locations are not highly visited tourist destinations; this will be reflected in the infrastructure and amenities provided.
Meals will be prepared by local restaurants and hotels. While we will visit various popular restaurants with elaborate menus, some meals will consist of simple, everyday Honduran food. Portions will be suitable, but not excessive.
- Transportation: a vehicle with a professional driver for the duration of the trip.
- Translation: Translator traveling with the group at all times.
- Accommodations for 6 nights in double occupancy rooms. All of our lodging partners are independent, locally owned hotels.
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner (menu options will vary).
- All activities specified in the itinerary.
- Guided tours.
- Honduran sales tax.
- Flights from your city to SAP (Honduras)
- Any optional tours or activities not specified in the itinerary.
- Tips, gratuities.
- Alcoholic beverages.
- Snacks and food other than breakfast, lunch, and dinner specified above.
- Travel insurance (required)

After checking out, you will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours. This will include a few forms to fill out:
-Health information
-Trip waiver
-Proof of insurance
You will also receive a link to a suggested travel insurance provider.
Trip protection style travel insurance that includes travel medical coverage is required for this trip with Odysea Coffee. The coverage must have a minimum of $100,000 for travel medical coverage and a $250,000 minimum for emergency medical evacuation & repatriation coverage. You can choose which travel insurance company to work with.
Once insurance is obtained, a copy must be sent to us.
If for any reason you decided to cancel, we will give you a full credit towards a future trip with us to be used within 2 years of the initial trip date. In the case of cancellation, trip credit is transferable to another person. We do not offer refunds.
