This limited edition variety was grown in micro-lots in Yaunera, Copán: a region of Honduras known for its ancient Mayan ruins and chocolatey coffee profiles. Grown at 1,500 meters above sea level, this delicate Yellow Catuai bean tastes of dark chocolate, berries, and red wine. Producer Iris Alvarado processed these beans using the natural method, bringing out more intensity, resulting in a bolder cup. Sustainability is just as important to Iris as it is to Odysea--rest assured that this coffee was grown using environmentally friendly practices.
This coffee is best brewed using a Chemex or other pour over method.
